Join the Hounds for an evening of Celtic chaos! Celebrating the birthday of the great Irish songwriter and performer Shane MacGowan, the show features songs written and performed with his band The Pogues; and later The Popes, performed by a full band of traditional Celtic instruments, complemented by drums and bass, and featuring dancers from the Victoria School of Irish Dance! Included are classics such as Fairytale of New York, (considered by many to be the greatest Christmas song ever written), Rainy Night in Soho, and Pair of Brown Eyes. The band will also perform early classics such as Transmetropolitan, Dark Streets of London, Boys From The County Hell and Sally MacLennan! Add to that many traditional songs Shane made famous Dirty Old Town, Man You Don't Meet Everyday, The Parting Glass and many more!
