Reserve early! The Hounds return to Port Alberni's Rainbow Room on Saturday August 23rd. A licensed event, and an all ages show. Doors at 7:30, music 8-11pm, tickets $25.
The Hounds of Cuchulain are a hard-hitting celtic folk band from Victoria BC, performing Irish, Scottish, English, and original folk music in the style of great bands like the Dubliners and Pogues. Rousing pub songs, high energy dance tunes, shanties, and more! Come dance, sing and be merry!
The group features a host of talented musicians playing traditional folk instruments: fiddles, irish tenor banjo, mandolin, tin whistle, harp, and accordion, backed with driving guitar, bodhrán (irish drum) and standup bass - all swept along by powerful vocals in the Dublin street style.
